Teach your daughters independence. Teach them how to share work, for that is what they’ll need to do when they are married. Teach them to sew buttons, to polish silver, to prepare for end times. Teach your boys those same things. Why shouldn’t they learn? Where will they be their first night far away from home when their shirt button pops off? A boy taught everything a girl is taught simply calls to the front desk, gets a sewing kit, and gets going.
This gender divide in our society is unacceptable. I’m putting my foot down. You can be damn sure my kids will be baking cookies, doing English and math, mowing the lawn, and being whatever they want to be no matter what they have between their legs.
